Runaway Alarm Clock

The Problem: My husband and I were having a lot of difficulty with our morning routines. I am the type to hear my alarm, turn it off, and get up. My husband, on the otherhand, is the type that hears his alarm, hits the snooze, and then hits it five more times before I come in and use either my voice or an object to wake him up. I had been complaining for a couple of months now since he has been making the snooze button his faithful friend. I have threatened him countless times telling him that one morning he would have a rude awakened and would let go of his affair with the snooze button.

The Solution: I was finally fed up and going to give him that rude awakening. I did some online searching and found just what I needed! The Runaway Alarm Clock!

Runaway Alarm clock

  • Adjustable snooze time

  • Makes buzzing noise and them rolls off the nightstand and then rolls around the room

  • It will buzz until you find it and turn it off

  • It will survive a two foot drop

  • Adjustable alarm noises

I was so excited the first day I suprised him with it. I switch his alarm clock in the middle of the night. When it went off he had a complex trying to get it off the first time but got it and went back to sleep. It them rolled off the nighstand and found it's temporary residence between my dresser and trashcan. It went off. My husband was urked when it wasn't on the night stand and when he finaly got up and found the clock he was perplexed to say the least.

I told him he needed to try it for a week and then he had the freedom to do as he wished with it. Seven days straight he was up and moving in only a couple of minutes. By the time the week was up he had grown to like the clock and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere since he was not rushing to work.

I would highly recomend the Runaway Alarm Clock!

Here are a couple places I have found that sell the Runaway Alarm Clocks: Alarm Clocks Online, and Target.

Here is a link to a youtube video of the Runaway Alarm Clock to give you an idea of what it does: Youtube: Runaway Alarm Clock

Everyone should look into this alarm clock!

Our First Year

Jordan and I will have been dating one year on November 1, 2008.

Our relationship has been a roller coaster! There have been ruff uphill climbs filled with uncertainty. We have had many fun and heartfelt drops that make our stomachs flutter. Then there are the times when we are just coasting on the excitement of a drop.

Our relationship is built on the knowledge that we will stick it out no matter what we are in or what might come up next.

Here are some things that have been helpful for us this past year in building a strong foundation for a good relationship:

Here are some highlights of our first year.

  • First date to Peeks View Park
  • Hike up to the LU Monogram.
  • My Birthday.
  • Jordan's Birthday.
  • Spontaneous Adventure to Inner Harbor, Baltimore.
  • My first flowers delivered right to my desk!

Now, our one year Anniversary is coming up in less than a week!

I had panicked for a couple of weeks because of uncertainty of what to buy him, but I have finally made my choice. Jordan has a deep attachment to the pocket knife he keeps in his left pants pocket. He is the type that looks for reasons to whip it out. A couple of months ago the blade cracked and he has been hoping to get another. He has put up with his old one without complaints and now I think it is time he gets a new one. I bought him a S&W ATM SWAT ASSISTED OPENING Pocket Knife. I am really hoping he likes it!

He has the day planned out and i am super excited just to spend time with him and celebrate being together for a whole year!

Jordan and I are rearing up for another year and can't wait to see what God has planned for us!
